Welcome to the online home of Justin Ecock,
I have been a board operator for over two years with
Whiteoaks Communications (CHWO AM740, Joy1250 and CJMR1320). During this
time I have been the technical producer on Marilyn Weston’s “Woman’s
Perspective”, “The Neighbourhood Mechanics” and Art Drysdale’s “The Garden
and Home Show” on AM740. I have also been the board operator for various
Punjabi speaking shows on CJMR1320 including “Punjab Dee Goonj”, the
longest running Punjabi speaking show in North America. When needed I
have helped AM740, and some of their specialty shows like “A Little Breath
of Scotland” with Dennis Snowdon, with their remote broadcasts and have
learned a great deal more about the technical side of a radio station from
the engineers. Recently, in an effort to deepen my experience here, I
took on the added responsibility of becoming the swing announcer for
Joy1250’s “Christian Hits Radio” which airs in the evenings. I graduated
from the Radio Broadcasting program at Humber College in 2005 with honours
and top marks in production. I have a great passion for radio and would
love be involved in a station that shares, encourages and challenges that
passion. |
